Roland KC550 Blown Tweeter

    Hi

I just bought a second hand Roland KC550 keyboard amp. I've discovered that the tweeter is blown (causing distortion/buzzing). I disconnected it completely and the amp sounds fine.

My question is, can I leave it disconnected - will it do any harm to the amp? I've tried playing thru it without the tweeter and it sounds fine so I wouldn't miss it, but I don't want to do any damage either.

Also, would replacing the diaphragm in the tweeter resolve the issue? Or could it be something else that's at fault?

    Thanks
    Kevin
