Genesis VC games

Evening all. Having a small issue with the families Wii. They recently upgraded to a HD tv and VC games would no longer display. I have done the Z + A + 2 fix and this worked for Snes etc games but not Genesis games. It's even the same story using emulators in the Homebrew Channel - Snes games are fine but Genesis games won't display at all. I am still using the composite cables as I don't have a component cable if that makes a difference. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be very grateful.

It might have to do with some cheaper TVs having trouble displaying the genesis resolution. You can fix this with composite cables or you could try running the genesis games 60Hz NTSC mode in the homebrew emulators. TBH you should be playing the US versions of these games in NTSC mode anyway since the PAL versions are ruined by slowdown.

It's the families Wii so I don't think they're too bothered by the slowdown to be honest. I fixed the Homebrew emulator anyway. It turns out I hadn't turned on interleaving even though I thought I had.

Yeah yeah. It's not as bad as Super Famicom or Ultra 64 (thank god that didn't last). :P
