    Hi guys :)

    Just after some advice.

I was clearing out some stuff the other day and came across a watch I haven't really ever used (present from my dad, not my style).

    This is it:

    http://www.artisansjewelry.com/FDwatch5.html

It's like new with box and manual but out of warranty.

Was going to put in a new battery an pop it on Adverts but don't really know what it's worth.

    So basically what's it worth.

    Condition: like new

    Box: yes

    Manual: yes

    Warranty: expired

    Thanks for any advice given.

    No takers?

    What about €200?

Well your link doesn't work for me, so that might be one reason?

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Hmmmm, it is working for me?

It's the alarm chronograph with cream face gold and silver in colour and gold dials.

Here is a link to someone's exact same watch on eBay:

    Brutally honest?

It's steel/gold dual tone bling ...an aquired taste at the best of times.
On top of that it has an old fashioned design that somewhat reeks of mothballs.
It may well be worth €200 to someone, but finding that someone may take some time.

Haha, nothing brutal about that :D

It was my same exact thoughts when my dad gave it to me all those years ago.

Went straight into a draw and never worn.

Might make a nice present for a grand dad. :pac:

    Hello.

It's hard to put a value on this now as it is an old watch, and has not been part of the Citizen range for many years.
It was last part of the collection here in Ireland in the year 2000 and RRP at the time was £350.

The design may look a bit dated now as others have pointed out, but it was a great watch at the time! It just goes to show that styles and tastes in watches have changed greatly over the past 10 years.

If it's still boxed and was never used, I'd venture to guess that it's probably still in perfect working order even though the warranty is expired - although the battery may need replacing.

    Regards,
