    Hi there,

Could anyone recommend a good online golf shop, with cheap delivery to Ireland? The only ones I seem to find are in the UK and have big delivery costs.

    Thank you

You could consider using https://www.parcelmotel.com/ . Was just reading up about then the other day as they have a collection point near me in Portmarnock.

Think you can use their NI Motel with onward delivery to your local one for €3.50 . Have a lookat their website FAQ's

NB: Just remembered they have size restriction on parcels so mightn't be suitable for a golf club!

yeah you prob won't fit a golf club into their lockers but if it wont fit I'm sure you'd be able to pick it up from their finglas depot if that was any good for you ? If you're close by it might save you a few bob ?

Might want to gove them a call forst to confirm though.

For everyone else, you'd fit any other equip into the lockers, clothes, shoes, balls for example for if you spot any bargains on uk sites with free uk delivery please let us know

Looks like a great service. I emailed them earlier as I'm in Cork. They said they plan to get one set up in Cork before Xmas. Pity that clubs, bags, trolleys won't fit etc but still could prove handy for other items. On the oversize items they said they can be collected at their main depot. Think there might be an extra charge for this but could still work out as good value

How much are you been charged for P&P?, the vast majority of UK sites offer free delivery to Ireland over a certain pricepoint usually £100.

Agree with this, I buy most of my gear from halpenny although always in-store. Find them really helpful and they will always drop 10% on asking price on clubs if you ask for their best price.

McGuirks are also flexible on price, and do great offers. I celebrated Rory's recent PGA Championship win with a new scotty cameron, reduced from 299 to 255 for the day as they do 15% off on mondays on whatever brand that weekends pga event winner uses. Try to find a select newport 2 black mist on any uk site for less than €285 and I guarantee you can't.

Back 3-4 years ago I used to buy everything from onlinegolf.co.uk. Great service and range of gear but in those days €1 got you close to £1stg. The 2 currencies actually hit parity for a couple of weeks. Now you'll only get 78p to the euro. Makes no sense to buy from the uk any more.

But op getting back to your question, I can recommend onlinegolf.co.uk and thegolfshoponline.co.uk. Both do free delivery when you spend over £100

I've just used these guys, who are based in Ireland, and I found them easy to deal with and excellent value. Just bought all my Xmas pressies for brothers there and they threw in a wee present for myself coz of the order size. I was told they are only starting up so stock isn't huge but they’re adding stuff all the time.

I’ll be back to them for first refusal for all my online needs as most other places are UK only. Free delivery in Ireland too!

    http://www.eugolfstore.com/

PS I have no affiliation with the shop whatsoever.

    Cheers

I bought a Titleist bag off these guys on Monday last and had by Thursday. Free p+p and the bag was at least €30 euro cheaper than any of the major retailers. Great service

I've also used http://www.eugolfstore.com/ for a number of items. Great value, great service and very flexible. Used the website and been in the store. Personally I think it's great to see an Irish owned business having a good crack at the big fish.

    No association with it either.
