What do guarda letters look like?

    got a letter to my home
    no name on it
    just says to household owner
    so to my da obviously
    the letters are printed into the envelope
    i got stopped by the guarda a few weeks ago and i think its from them

    anyone tell me what it looks like? should it not have a name on it or an offical stamp

    its probably about the house hold charge. Reminder letters are being sent out at the moment.

    If you got stopped by the guards a few weeks ago and you think they are sending you something, I'm pretty sure it would have your name on it, not 'to the householder'

    A letter from the Gardai would have a name on it, not just 'The Householder'. Probably a reminder letter about the household charge as said above.

    Any official letter will likely have a harp on the envelope, and would always have a name and address printed on it. It certainly would not be addressed to "the householder" if coming as a result of a traffic stop.

    Open it. Probably Almost definitely junk mail.
