I'm looking to get involved in a walking/mountaineering club based around Waterford. Any ideas?

Walking clubs publish up coming events in the local papers. Note however that the walking season does not really get going until well into September. There are clubs in Waterford city, Dungarvan and the Nire Valley. If you check Mountaineering Ireland's web site they list clubs and contacts by County.

Excellent, thank you both. Looking forward to getting out on the hills soon!
