Don't think you need new bottles for second baby - maybe new teats at the most, though all ours seem ok so will be reusing them for our second.

I saw the natural avent and thought they looked much better then the other avent bottles. We bought the small ones to use when our second one gets here - but only because we had no small bottles. We plan on using the bigger avent size we already have when we get to that stage. Unfortunately you cant use old style teats on new natural ( or so they say) not sure if you can put new teats on old bottles.

Just one thing to consider- we have an avent microwave steriliser and the natural range do not fit in! However when I rang avent helpline they said they would send out a new basket to put in steriliser that will fit natural range. I just needed to email my proof of purchase.

My advice would be stick with what you have and get new teats if you need or feel more comfortable about that. Wouldnt have bothered buying any ourselves except we needed the small size. The natural ones are expensive ( at the mo boots are doing 3 for 2, which helped) and would rather have spent the money on something else for baby.

I can't believe your teats survived the first baby... We must have had one heck of a chewy child. She chewed right through about 20 teats while she was on bottles.

I threw out all old teats once i moved onto the next flow level. Think i'll just buy bew teats. The bottles are in perfect condition really....ds was never a fan of bottles so they didn't get as much use as normal bottles would...i think! We just had alot of hassle with bottles with ds and I'm afraif of a repeat with new baby. Have a few dr. brown on stand by as well. Thanks for the replies.

Ours was more of a milk monster :-) chewing would probably have gotten in her way of guzzling milk! Lol! Actually now that I think about it she never really got into teethers either - but is pretty inseparable from her dodi!

Just an update on the new basket we got from phillips for the natural bottles. No instructions so haven't a clue how to fit them in and it looks like you can only fit four, which is useless as you could do 6 of the old bottles. Has anyone managed or know how to fit the new natural bottles into their steriliser? Can't find anything on phillips site and no look googling yet!

Ok just finished talking to philips support. The new basket only fits four bottles - so disappointed!!! One the reasons we ought the avent microwave steriliser was because it sterilised 6. Support were unaware whether a new steriliser was coming out but were very helpful in describing how to fit them as much as they could.
