    I am looking to buy a few 15' field gates anyone know where to get them at the right price. manufacterer,ni,"travelling salesmen" etc.

    I think those *travelling salesmen* are in kilorglin puck fair at the moment. Didnt see any gates but plenty power tools and 3pce suits!!!

    tbh the only travelling salesman i will buy anything off is mickey connors, will see if i can find his number... sound out man, got gates last year at a good price and good quality

    I can't believe in this day and age people still buying gates off them :rolleyes:.

    Once bitten twice shy and I don't want sand either.

    Never much of a difference in price between any of the co-ops anyway on these.

    And don't bother with the standard gate especially at that width.

    I see your in Cork, so this might not be much use. Bought gates several times over the last few years from Luke Connors, seem well enought made and galvanised. 14 and 15 foot gates approx €120 each. he was on 087 1418400

    as i said he is the only travelling sales man i will buy from as they are really good and easy to deal with, theres this real bully traveller guy that comes here that refuses to leave until you buy something, i hide now when i see him coming:cool: edited to say if there is ever a problem with anything you get off him he will refund you

    There used to be a lad going round here in a blue mercedes lorry selling gates,never was at home when he called think it was northern/uk reg.
    I need to replace some of the gates that where bought off a particular travelling salesman 25+ years ago
