A friend of mine wants Sky Sports just for the Ryder cup (27-30th Sept). He doesn't normally have sports or movies on his package.

Was I correct in telling him that he could subscribe to Sky sports for one month only, on the one phone call to sky .... i.e. subscribe for one month and give a month's notice on the one call?

sky go monthly ticket is the only way to do it and you are not tied to a 12months contract

You are 100% correct, one call is all it takes.Book the sports channels for the month & in the same call give notice of cancelling.

@FTA Keith, the op already has Sky, so Sky monthly ticket is of no advantage, they are simply upgrading their package for a month.A friend of mine does this regularly depending on what he wants to see on Sky Sports.

Thanks Zerks. Tell that friend of yours that he can call sky for one cent per minute.

    0044 2071267020 using www.13434.ie (5c setup + 1c per minute)

    This may be better .....
