Need advice on passing the year

    I am doing accounting and finance, and I worried about failing maths in the repeats, if i fail it but pass everything else, will i be able to advance to the next year? I am a first year if ye are wondering

    Nope, unfortunately you cannot carry modules through to the next year. So it would mean you'd repeat the module you failed only this year and if you pass it then you will be able to go into 2nd year in 2013/2014.. Sorry to have such bad news:( Hope you pass though

    It will be my first time sitting the exam, as i got sick during the orginal one

    Ok so you haven't sat the exam yet that good you still have time.


    This is your first attempt at this exam so
    If I'm not mistaken and you should check this but your CA will count towards your pass. ( if you repeat you must pass the exam to pass the module), but on your first attempt and i'm sure you can use you CA % towards the magic 40% to pass. ( 40%- CA% + % needed to pass the module)

    MT 101 is it? Flog the past papers, Get a grind ( ask the SU) it's not too late. Maths all about doing the questions over and over again until you've nailed it.

    The maths learning Center might be running some sessions if alot of people are repeating ( it's worth asking and it is your first attempt so its fair enough to ask)

    It is ms144, i been study for a few hours now and i am pretty sure that i will now be about to do at 1 and half question, now i starting a 3 question studing , so hopefully i will be okay, the reason i ask for advice is that i was worried that i might not get a chance to study like yesturday(as the website with my notes was down) but it is back up now, and i am going to study ever chance i get today
