That's like sayin shouldn't put up pics of plenty of foxes shot in a night
If farmers are happy then that's all that counts

I wouldn't really consider it boasting in fairness.

If lads didn't send in photos, letters and emails to magazines there wouldnt be many magazines around would there?

I think the more people that know what we're up to the better. Get the sport out there and you'll get more people doing it

The worst thing you can do for a sport like shooting and hunting is cover it up. The more people who experience hunting/shooting the more will see the reality of our sports. That we're not blood hungry psychos but hard working enthusiasts who respect our quarry.

agreed gut why do members on here hide there faces in pictures
i use to do it on here
as everyone else did but have stopped ive nothing to hide
on certain other hunting forums they wont let you put up pictures if your face is covered as your doing nothing wrong

i thought people hid their faces because of owning firearms and not wanting to publicise that fact or am i mistaken

I never understood hiding faces either
Il upload pics tomoro and won't hide my beautiful face lol
But I don't see any shame in hiding the face ( or puttin bullet or cartridge in the mouth of a fox no offence) if I shot something I'm proud of hunting then I will show my face and how proud I am too lads
If you have a licence for your gun no need to hide ya face
Got me thinkin that hiding faces
Is it because it was illegally shot without licence or your really ugly lol
    Atb

I don't think that that was his point.
Unfortunately there are too many "undesirables" who would love to get their hands on you stuff if they knew who you were and where you lived.

People hide their faces because they want to stay anonymous as they can online and not have the wrong sort of people recognise them, its not that they done something illegal, they just dont want people knowing who they are

JohnGalway said it here before, he said something he shouldn't have on here or another forum...
He said he was tracked down to his door from the details: John, from the vast Connemara in Galway who owned firearms.

Same reason I dont put pictures or talk about owning guns on facebook cos you never know who might see it.

Why do some antis wear skimasks or hoodies and scarves???
Obviously they dont want to be too recognised either..
Even John Fitzgerald studiously avoids getting his face in pics, despite all his rherotic to the contary..
So its up to everyone,if you dont want your face in the pic.Dont be in the picture.Take it of the game its more intresting anyway.:)

I totally agree with you on that one!! It's all about personal choice.
And I am proud of the sport!
