    Hi all.

    Today I topped up my Meteor account (Broadband to go) through online banking. I then went into my meteor control panel and texted the 1 day pass text. It didn't work, so I tried again.

    Guess what? - it took €5.98 off me but only gave me ONE 1 day pass. An entire tenner disappeared the same way about a month ago.

    Contact Meteor? Nah, not really. The freephone number is completely bogus: I'm 087 on the mobile and the 'Freephone' only works if you're Meteor for your mobile too. As for 'MyMeteor' - utter crap. Eternal logins that keep redirecting to the home page, where every link tries to sell you something. And all this after logging in ...

    This fits my description of "Robbery". Have any of the rest of you had similar experiences? Their internet is overpriced enough without paying for what you DON'T get!

    Had a very similar experience. Bought €10 credit last week via bank transfer. 5 mins later, I got a text on the dongle saying credit topped up. I picked a 7 day plan. Downloaded about 800mb over the space of 4 hours. (really poor signal where I am).

    I went to bed. after work the next day, I went to browse. got a text saying I need to pick a plan. Couldnt do anything until I did. So I picked a 1 day pass. 5 mins later I get the same message.

    I tried to pick a 1 day pass again to contact their support but I was out of credit.

    I am still trying to contact Meteor support.
