Somewhat interesting. In a broad sense, it seems the be a classic case of reinterpreting a "seemingly" contradictory passage in order for it it to make sense.

A wonderful article. We went to an evangelical church for 15 years and have started attending Mass since about February.
The authors reading of the Eucharist matches my own feeling exactly.

I lived in Winnipeg 22 years, Brian. It can do strange things to you :D

Why did you convert to RC?

I became a Catholic before we were married. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I read the Apostles Creed, the priest asked me if I believed all that was in there, I stated yes and he said, 'welcome to the Catholic church."

So no concrete reason, it was just a good idea at the time because that was the church I was going to every weekend. So I may as well be a member.
