    Hello guys,

    Classic League Code:
    12877-1456
    H2H League Code:

I won't get a chance to read the rules properly until tomorrow. On first impressions, do you guys think the most "money" is to be made on expensive players who we all know about, or cheap gems everyone will want in a few weeks?

Not sure how they increase in value yet, so I'll try figure it all out tomorrow.

Until then, if someone can give a quick-and-easy synopsis, that'd probably help get more people involved.

I am putting a load of money on Torres and Mata.

I really liked the idea of this game until I saw that trading begins an hour after each match finishes or something along those lines.

    Total FPL Consumption => Success

"When a Gameweek is in progress a player will be available to trade approximately 1 hour after the finish of the last match on the day of their last match."

Not after each match. At the end of the game day, which basically means you can sign in Saturday night or Sunday morning to prepare for day 2 of the gameweek.

So you can't trade after the 12:30pm game, you have to wait for the 3pm (or 5:30pm) games to end.

I was wondering if we could trade a player IN on a Saturday night if he's playing on Sunday. That way, you could start a GW with players playing on Sat, then get rid of them all for players playing on a Sunday. But I don't think that's the case. When they say "available to trade", I think they mean both buying and selling.

Yeah, that bit confused me too. I'm guessing you stick with your starting portfolio for the entire gameweek otherwise there's too much benefit to be logging in and making changes every saturday evening.

While that's my interpretation too, I have to ask... what's the point in trading a player out of your portfolio an hour after his day is over? The only time that would be useful is if you were bringing in a player playing the following day, which the rules (seem to) say we can't do. I guess that's where the confusion lies.

What we'll have to do is just make sure you have someone who played you can sell on Sat evening, then try to trade in a Sunday player in his place. Actually trying it is the only way we'll know for sure.

    Anyone playing this?

Currently playing it and throwing a hand at it even though i am still unsure about it.
Currently ranked 18 in Ireland and 253 overall.......strange sort of game but less demanding i think

I've been logging in once each Friday.

Seems to me the key is loading all your money on someone playing against a weak team each week.

I've been spreading evenly over 10 players, doing fairly well on several, but not making enough profit. Everyone doing consistently well have just had everything on Tevez, from what I can see. Then those getting weekly highs are miraculously putting all their cash on the likes of Reid this week, who would have got you about a 10% increase (100 points).

Tend to load as you have pointed out though not as heavy as some, made some small gains from Nolan for example.
