Hi guys just wondering can I fundraise to start my new business. It's costly enough to set up about 10 grand and I am actually quite handy at fundraising for charities and the likes so is it a good idea to do fundraising for my business? carwash's, etc... thanks

You could beg, steal or borrow it but fund raising it sounds like real initiative.

    Go for it! :-)

You can fundraise to buy a new car, but after a while you will lose street cred.

If doing something like washing cars then this is effectively starting a mini business to fund a larger business, which is valid. Beg, stealing and borrowing might be a better way if all are clear why you are doing it.
