SUSI grant application website crashing. Anyone else affected? Desparate here!

Hi all. I am trying for the past few days to complete the application but I am being frustrated at every click by a succession of error messages and crashes of the website.Am so close to just hopping the fúckin laptop off the wall. Is anyone else affected by this?? I am pretty sure it's not my computer at fault becasue every other site works fine and it is crashing in both IE9 and Chrome. SUSI helpdesk are absolutely useless. And anotherthing, does anyone find the layout and flow of the whole site very badly designed? I mean you can't pick up where you left off but have to trawl through the whole thing over and over having to click through annoying Confim pop ups. Is there any solution to this?

I just helped my brother fill in his form and I had no crashing problems. Using Chrome. Maybe nip down to a net cafe and finish it there.

It' Sunday now and it's crashing for me too. hopefully it'll work later on.

kept happening to me too and im using safari. its definitely the site thats slow. extremely annoying.

What a joke! Do these people not try out their own website to see if it works. Two and a half hours trying to answer eight questions in the Income bit and still can't move on! Either errors or telling you to answer something you've already answered.:mad:

Such a travesty of a site. I've had nothing but problems with the site. I didn't think it would be possible for the government could make applying for a grant such a hassle.

I have been trying to complete online application for last few days - cannot get any further than Section F Part 1 - keeps telling me there is an error:cannot read...

Cannot get through to SUSI on phone - What are we supposed to do with the deadline approaching. If only their website would make an announcement and confirm existing problem and advise..

Managed to get mine sent in, had to use Internet Explorer. Had errors still but it was much less than when using Chrome. Try IE.

Had the same problem a few days ago,save as you go,sign out and give it a while ,sign back in again and you can start from where you left off,this worked for me!,not ideal but I got there in the end! good luck

I am using Mozilla Firefox and it always works on a daily basis and very fast. I dont know why people still use Internet Explorer!. Chrome is good but a bit difficult with the tool, navigation and menu bars. Mozilla is the Best!

Try mozilla and apply for your grant!
