Sky remote slow

When i press the buttons on the sky remote they are slow to register on the sky box. Its not the batteries could it need a forced update? Any help much appreciated Cheers

It could be the buttons are worn out. You can buy a new one in any TV retailer. Just be aware that there are various versions for various model boxes so bring your old one.

You could try cleaning it inside. You can also test you remote control using a camera phone. You can do a web search for the details.

Hi, If you are using a tv-link eye, check that any nearby dect phones are not interfering with it.

I had a problem like this and I found that if you put the phone handset in the base, it did not interfere with the eye.
