Clutch kit for 98 1L polo

    hey all, I'm pretty sure the clutch on my 98 1L polo is on its way out. There's a pretty bad smell off it every so often and the car seems to struggle when accelerating. Any ideas how much it would cost (roughly) to get a new kit fitted.

    We'd be charging around the €350 so you should expect around that from most larger independent garages.

    clutch kits on ebay cost pretty reasonable - linky , fitting would be around 150 - to 250 .. depend where you going. it is a bit tough , but possible, if technically minded, and have some haynes book. :)

    i never paid anything to garages, except only wheel alignment or tire fitting :)
