    :DHi all.

Just wondering if anybody has any advice regarding the EB test.

    I'll be using a horsebox.

Just wondering if you have to couple and uncouple and any other useful tips?
I just got a cancellation and only have a week to prepare!

    Thanks.:D

You won't have to actually uncouple the trailer, but you will have to explain the process of how you would do it.

Your examiner will be paying particular attention to your road positioning turning left, making sure you don't touch the kerb.

You will be given a choice of reversing left or right around a corner. In the B licence category you don't get a choice, it's left only. Make good use of your side mirrors when reversing.

And of course practice, practice and more practice.

    Best of luck,
    Padraic

Another couple of things to remember are firstly, make good progress. You'll have an empty trailer on, so the examiner will expect proper progress. And, it's still a driving test!! Most people I've come across who have failed the EB test, have failed with regular driving faults, and not trailer related ones!

    Best of luck!

    PS
Uncoupling AFAIK is brake, jockey wheel, lights, safety chain, and uncouple.
    Coupling is the reverse.
I've not had anyone asked to actually do it either, just explain it.

internal dimensions of at least 2.4 metres by 1.2 metres.
