Hi all, have decided (been told :D) that the present kitchen needs to be updated.
I am looking for recommendations of painters to paint over the oak kitchen. Please pm me with details. Any advice/ tips greatly appreciated. How much did this cost you ? I live near lexlip.
    Thanks everybody.

It would more than likely be just as handy changing all the door's on the unit's. It is a fairly big job to strip and then paint kitchen units, if it's done properly it should be anyway.

I would personally spray all the doors, panels, cornice, light sheild etc. if you can or else get a pro to do it for you.

It will give a far better finish than brushing or rolling the paint on.
