Leaving Cert Ordinary Level Maths Test At The End Of 5th Year?

I'm an average student at maths. I am willing to work to get this exam finished by the end of 5th year. I only want to scrape a pass. Do you think it is a good idea to try out? Is it possible to do? It would be great to have it out of my way for 6th year. Then I could be able to concentrate on my more important classes.

    Opinions?
