    Hey lads,

Just broke down a while ago. '03 Golf IV. Pulled out of an estate and as i drove up to a set of traffic lights the clutch wouldnt work. The pedal was stuck and couldnt really be pressed down. I tried again and eventually it went fully down and wouldnt come back up. I reached down and pulled it back up with my hand and its back to being stuck in the up position. Had to get towed home.

Nothing else wrong with the car as far as i can see and ive had no previous problems with the clutch. Any idea what this might be?

It is probably the clutch itself then. About €350 for a new one supply and fit.
