I'm finding it hard to break into the computer sector,

I am looking at tech support jobs a lot have no experience need but still the recruitment company's are not even looking at me for the type of jobs,

How do people find recruitment company's to deal with? I know their looking for people with high level of experience to get the job so they get paid more..

Not really - they're looking for the people that their clients are looking for. That could be entry level or it could be experienced. Of course their client will want best value for their money, but I'm sure there are junior positions out there.

It's a candidate's market when it comes to IT at the moment. If you're experienced but the agencies aren't getting back to you, then it might be worthwhile having someone review your CV to see if you're doing yourself justice.

If you've no experience at all, then try and think about what you can do in your own time to build up your CV.

Remember that the agencies don't work for you, so you have to take the initiative. Follow up on your applications by phone, get feedback on your CV etc.

Personally I don't mind dealing with them. I can be upfront about what sort of package I'm looking for. I don't take it personally if they don't get back to me. It's annoying, but I'm not paying them anything. I'm a commodity that they might or might not be able to sell. If they can't, then they'll move on to someone they can. That's just the nature of the business.
