Gun clubs in Waterford city

    Hi all moved to Waterford city on the old Tramore road was looking for a gun club to join can any one help me I've been a member in Wex for the past nine years but after moving here I'm looking for a gun club to join here tanks

    Tramore -Ballygunner- Clonnerach, you are entitled, once you are a local resident,but don't hold your breath.

    Have you tried the NARGC? They should have the contact details of the gun clubs.

    No not yet must give them a call I have sent letters and made calls to gun cllubs but no luck getting into one it's hard to get into one

    I am thinking of setting up a gun club in waterford city, you need 8 members to register. I have a .22lr and shot gun licence but want to apply for a .243 and being a member of a club would help. I currenly hunt with private permissions on land not open to gun clubs. I have tried local clubs but they really seem to be groups of friends not open to new members. Anyone interested? we could call the club waterford rejects gun club lol.

    Waterford nargc is a joke dont bother joining its a one man show running the hole thing(badly) and most people attending the meetings havnt fired a shot in 20years, and have no interest in getting new members or bring in new blood to try to revitalise it
