Trying to organise a stag do in November this year and trying to find places to go. We're planning 1st weekend in November and was wondering where may be a good place to go. Had considered Sligo or Kilkenny, we're from the North. Would anyone recommend these cities or any other cities that would be good?

I'm totally with finbarrk on this. You won't regret going to Galway for your stag. So much to do, not just drinking.

    There is-
Go-Karting (Indoors: Galway City Karting or Outdoors: Pallas Karting) I really recommend the outdoors one - it's a fantastic track and the karts are fast! But it's 40 minutes outside the city.

Cycling (West Ireland Cycling organise cycling events for stag and hen parties for full weekends and can include fun activities such as kayaking, surfing, combat games etc. You just email them and they organise everything (Accommodation etc) - you only have to turn up!)

Pubs (Galway has some of the best pubs in the country if you're stag party is going to be just about the social entertainment scene. I could list loads here but I don't think it's necessary - if you go to Galway you'll be hard pressed to find a crap pub).
