High Court Transcript of my case

    Hello, I would like to share my experience with you concerning the High Court transcript of my case;

    4 years after my case was heard the Judge that heard the case made an order for the transcript of the case to be got. The reason being to resolve a dispute. I paid the stenographer company over 6,000 euros for the transcript. When they sent the transcript they said they were difficulties with the transcript. I asked them to return my money but they refused. The Judge (who presided over the case) was informed of this but made a court order for me to take the transcript. I broke this court order and instead brought a case against the stenographer company. I wrote to them before the case came up asking for the audio to be brought to court. They settled the case out of court.

    The funny thing is that when I looked for my money back the stenographer sent me a second transcript. A cross examination by this Judge was not included in the first transcript.

    Consumer Issues forum perhaps? Are transcripts covered by the SOGASOSA?
