Does anyone know if there is any funding for courses if you are working part time?? I will be working part time and I want to do a part time course but I probably wont be earning enough to pay for the course. Is there any funding available out there before I have to go down the loan route!

There's the PTEO, I think it's a bit like BTEA for part time workers:

& also the grant. I'm not sure if you can get the grant and the PTEO, but you could probably get the grant for fees anyway.

    Thanks for the link!

Do you have to be unemployed completely to be eligible for pteo? Im not in receipt of jobseekers right now but i might have to when my hours go down in september - i still probably wont get it though, what grant do you mean?!

I think you have to be receiving jsb or jsa for PTEO. The grant is the education grant. That's only for full time courses.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
