Ok so had a upper wisdom tooth extracted earlier today. Thankfully quite painless, more uncomfortable than anything.

I am starving and going to eat in few hours but dont know what to have. Was told soft cold foods. Was considering making mash and baked beans and let it go cold then eat it. Any other suggestions?

Jelly and Ice Cream, you'll never have a better excuse.

Yeah I normally use a dental visit as an excuse to eat soft desserts - tiramisu is my soft favourite!

For savoury, get one of those soupful soups, heat it up, put bread into it, let it all go cool and spoon it all in. Yum!

Theres also smoothies of all varieties!

Thanks for the help. gonna get some ice cream tomorrow. Not in any pain thankfully. Having bangers and mash with beans this evening. Letting it go basically cold and have the sausages cut into tiny bits and small bites will take. Need something feeling.

For lunch I went for a banana sandwich, again eaten in tiny bites.

Definitely gonna get a burger next week to make up for this.

How are you feeling: Extractions always knock me for a couple of days

Go get some complan. Will fill you up and give your body everything it needs. I used that.

On a related note, would ice cream not be a bad idea? Would the could not affect the wound?

I am fine actually, was one of my upper wisdom teeth but went fine. Have some antibiotics for 5 days and Nurofen for 3 days to helps but not feeling any pain or major tiredness. More bored as would murder a nice lunch or burger out and cant do it. Soft diet is not me.

Worst at the moment is I finish up work tomorrow for a new job and going out but cant drink i was told so pity about that. Was looking forward to a few farewell beers but looks like will be on the soft drinks instead.

Never though of complan. Not something I really want to take either. Trying to avoid the likes of that as they are very boring foods.

I got mine out today, I've ate soup and ice cream but i might have mashed up waffles tomorrow. I, too, would MURDER a burger.
Already planning meal out next weekend. My jaw is killing me more than the teeth, i think they had a tyre jack in my mouth
