Student Records in House 5 used to be where it was.

If I remember correctly it costs around 6 euro. The entrance to the Student Records office is now located in Front Arch. You have to take a ticket and wait for your number to be called.

Also if its not urgent, you'll get a new student card free in September when you re-register.

Don't they charge you if you don't return your old car when you re-register?

2 or 3 euro. He'd save money by waiting!

Yeah, and you wouldn't want to borrow off a friend or anyone else to get you through, even if that'd save you a few quid. Definitely not worth even thinking about. Definitely.

He wouldn't, if you don't present your old student card when re-registering they charge you for it.

    ... I think.

When I lost my student ID card this time last year, they refused to issue me with a new card until registrations began even though I was willing to pay the €6 for the previous academic year's card. OP, I recommend that you ask them first to see if they'll even issue you with a new card at this stage.
