anyone else really disappointed with their results? I got a C1, my first C ever in the subject. I always got A's, the occasional B and 82% in the mocks..

I worked so hard and thought it went really well, but got a C1?

    was this common with people?

Yes i got an A2 when i was pretty confident of getting an A1.A friend of mine who got an A2 in the mocks dropped to a B2 in the actual exam and he was totally shocked,so i think its no harm reviewing the script, you should probably do the same.

Yeah, got an A2 was 100% positive of the A1.. Convinced still all my shorts, and 3 of my fulls were full marks. Can't understand where I lost marks..

Nearly everyone I know was disappointed with Economics. Other than me there was only 1 A1 in the year with about 40ish doing nomics. In the mocks there was almost 20 A1s so people were depending on it I think.

Same OP. Economics was my best subject, I dominated my mocks and christmas exam and got an A2 today. Luckily it didn't really matter for my overall results but I was really surprised

Economics is always marked fairly hard. They are very strict with the points they accept and don't accept, even if all are somewhat relevant.

They only give out 3-4% A1s every year anyway. Not everyone can get there.

it'll be interesting to see what happened when I view it haha.. i still got well over enough points so i'm not too worried about getting it rechecked

Same here. Expected either an A1 or an A2 and ended up with a B1. Not bad but I thought I did better..?

Came out of that paper confident of an A, ended up getting a C3. It was the paper I came out feeling best about, but somehow was one of my worst results today. No idea what happened there!

Came out of the exam thinking I was in B1 or A2 territory and I ended up with a C3. It was the only exam were my expectation was way off what I got.

I know I messed up one question B but the rest of my questions I thought were ok. At least a C standard. I'm going to have a look at it and see if it's worth getting it checked.

I got an A2, was really happy

Came out of that paper horrified at how awful it went. It was my last exam and really felt like I had just given up so I was very, very happy with my B2! A 7 grade jump from the mocks!

It's really strange. Everyone who came out feeling it went so well were disappointed, and others who came out feeling it went bad are delighted and have gotten better grades than the others.

I am so annoyed over my economics result :(

Came out thinking I got a B3 or C1 and got a C3. I only took it up in January so I am pretty happy with the result.

Same here. I've been an A student for the past 2 years, came out with a C1. The rest of my class did pretty poor as well.
