Saorview STBs With Quick Channel Change

Can anyone recommend a Saorview STB with a quick channel change for flicking between channels?
I got a €50 4Ife SV100 box in DID and it takes about 2 1/2 seconds to change. A TVStar T1010 box from Dunnes was even worse taking about 5 seconds to switch when pressing a channel button. It took about 2 seconds when using the up/down channel button which is sort of odd. Anything quicker than this?

It is probably waiting to see if you are entering a 2 digit number. E.g. 2.....4 =24

Yes, I never thought of that. More than likely that's what's happening. Remote controls which behave this way do my head in, especially since there aren't more than 9 digital channels at present! I suppose I'll just have to use the recall button to flick backwards and forwards between channels!

There are more than 9 channels, the radio channels start at 200.

You said that it takes this long while you're using the up/down buttons. That isn't affected by the double-digit thing.

    Try 02 or 002 instead of 2.....wait
