Hi Rose! I'm in a similar situation, I'm starting in UCD in September too, but have no idea where to live. I'm hoping to live with other students so I'll make friends. My name is Patrick and I'm eighteen. I'd be interested in a house share if there were enough to get a house! Also I'm doing Arts there too, English and History! :)

Which area were you interested in going for? It would end up being a lot cheaper if students were to share a house together!

For any females lookin for accom. I found this on daft

    http://www.daft.ie/searchsharing.daft?id=688538

That's very cheap for the area its in a good location and they are offering a nine month lease is quite rare. Sometimes ya'll have to check in the sharing section, when pickings become thin on the lettings section.

For any males, I stumbled across this, which is extraordinarily good value and is on the door-step to UCD.

You'd really want to be checking daft a few times a day. Another piece of advice is to book as many viewings as possible in one day and go up with a holding deposit. Now that the LC results are out, and the cao offers will be out soon, its really going to become dog-eat-dog. That's the honest to God truth. Houses will go up and be taken down on the same day, such will be the demand.
