Anyone have any recommendations for a good sports store in NY?

Heading over this weekend and on the look out for some good deals.

    Cheers,

The big ones when I was over for the marathon were:
    Paragon Sports
    Sports Authority
    City Sports

Depends on the brand you are buying, was in Florida last month and they had loads of ron hill / asics / NB at higher prices than here.
If you are buying Nike / Adidas clothes then you are sorted in city/outlets.
The Nike outlet stores have plenty of choice in shoes.
    Adidas not so much.
Footlocker has a good choice but overpriced.
The outlet malls also have 2/3 decent general shoe stores that have running shoes, but if in the city only try Champs in Times Sq.

Highly recommend paragon sports. not the cheapest but the sheer volume
of running gear is amazing. Enjoy

Nike runners are very good value. Last March Nike 'Free Run' were $45 a pair... they are 90e a pair here..
