Different resellers, same speeds/congestion?

We're moving into a property in Greystones with an Eircom ADSL connection. The default, and probably easiest, option is to reconnect the eircom broadband connection. However, I know there are many resellers of the same broadband, such as vodafone, O2 etc.

Given that these resellers are offering broadband over the same physical connection as eircom, can they offer anything better in terms of speed or congestion?

I'm happy to pay extra if it means the line isn't going to slow down in the evenings etc. So does anyone know if the other resellers can physically offer better congestion ratios over the same line?

    cheers
    darragh

BT have unbundled Greystones ( including backhaul) and Voda would use that gear if available to them.

Other resellers would use eircom backhaul to Dublin.
