When playing a game, screen shifts to the left...

    hi all.

    just playing a game on my win xp machine, and the game screen shifts to the left when i start playing.

    the game is being run in full screen mode and if you can imagine there is a black bar running down the right hand side of the screen. windows desktop displays fine. bit confused as to why this is...... the monitor is a HP L1925

    Its the wrong resolution.

    If you find out the res of your monitor, then set the game to that it will match perfectly.
