I have doubledoors with a window on either size which restricts the purchase of ready made curtains. A while ago I looked into having some made...and was quoted well over EUR1000:eek:

Has anyone bought two pairs of reasonably priced ready made and joined them together??

    Thanks.

Yes, I did and they turned out fine. Much cheaper option than having curtains made to order. It sounds like you would have a seam anyway as the curtains would need to be quite wide for a double door and windows. Any dressmaker can do this quite easily.

What is the size of your opening?

You could pick up two pairs of 90x90 eyelets for under a €100. You don't necessarily have to sow them either as you can overlap the rings.

What size pole do you need?

Ikea sell special click together curtain tracks and also very long/wide curtains.

Basicly you can build your own curtain pole and track system to suit what ever angles and sizes you need.

    Worth a visit.
