I see the Fozzy tickets for Cork are on sale but does anyone know when the Dublin tickets go on sale?

Just emailed the venue asking about that. It's a disgrace that there's no mention on their website or facebook etc. Tickets apparently on sale Friday, may be just for Cork.

Can't wait for this gig, been out of the country the last two times they were here so third time lucky.

What's the capacity of The Academy?

What was the set-list of the gig last year?

It'll probably be Ticketmaster.ie for the gig in Spirit. You'll be able to get a ticket easily I expect.

I probably won't go to the gig. I'm holding out for "Wrestling Mania" in town to get Y2J in for a signing. I asked on their FB page and they said they'll try to get him in so Fingers crossed! :D

I could justify travelling to Dublin for a signing moreso than going to see Fozzy. Do Wrestling Mania ever get people in for that kind of thing? I know it's been there years now.

Are these guys worth checking out?

Jericho did a signing in Wrestling Mania the last time Fozzy played Dublin did he not?

That's what I was wondering, or was Mick Foley or anyone ever there, or Bret Hart even??

I hope they bring over SOIL aswell since they are touring with them in the UK. Kinda surprised they are in the Academy unless they are doing the Academy 2?

As far as I know they've just had Chris. Mick did a meet and greet before his comedy show (Which was very well done)
and Bret did signings with AWR (American wrestling Rampage) before shows in Dublin and the UK.

Was that in The Button Factory?

Enemy is by far their best song, so good that it was used by WWE and TNA if I remember correctly.

Still interested to know if they will play mostly the covers from the first two albums, or their originals from the 3rd and 4th album. Love the two Iron Maiden covers.

They don't play covers anymore - 'cept for maybe eat the rich, or ones they have "made their own". Jericho said that to me at the last wrestling mania signing as I asked him about the maiden covers (I love them both too).

With this being their 5th album I doubt you will see any covers from them - apart from "we will rock you" to start the show! :p

There hasn't been a show since March, or am I looking at the wrong part of the website?

We don't run the weekly show anymore, just interviews now. About to post one this week with Jeff Hardy.

    Recent interview on entertainment.ie

Also mcd website had this "WWE star Chris Jericho’s Fozzy have just announced The VooDoos and Eazy Tiger as support for their exclusive headline performance at the Academy, Dublin on Saturday November 24th 2012."
I wonder are those supports any good?

Never heard of The VooDoos but am a fan of Eazy Tyger. Very 80's Sunset Strip style music.

Pretty cool bus :). So who is going to this Saturday, not much excitement on here for it ? Really want to get Chris autograph but looks unlikely unless you buy the VIP package :( Anybody got that or any other ideas to meet Chris?

That's the first I heard about anything like that, I don't remember it being on Ticketmaster.
