    Hi,
My laptop KEEPS getting bluescreens and I am pretty sure there are about 10 faulty drivers. I have no idea how or why this happened and I am crap with computers so instead of updating each driver I would like to just reinstall windows 7 and have everything fresh and new. How do I do this? Is this a ridiculous idea?

I did not get a disk(I have no disk drive as it's a netbook)

    What make is it....
It will have a recovery partition to reinstall windows back to factory condition.
Look in the manual for how to reset to factory.

Okay I have looked through the whole manual and I can't find instructions anywhere on how to return to factory settings, nada. Could anyone guide me through it?

You must have skipped page 50... ;)
Press and hold the 0 (zero) key on your keyboard while powering on the computer.

A warning screen appears, stating that when the recovery is executed all data will be deleted and rewritten. Click Yes to continue.

When the Toshiba Recovery Wizard opens and the Selecting a process screen displays, select Recovery of Factory Default Software and then click Next.

The Recovery of Factory Default Software screen appears. Select Recover to out-of-box state.

    Click Next.

A confirmation message displays reminding you that all data will be lost during the recovery process. Be sure to save your work to external media before proceeding

Click Next to begin the recovery.

When the process is complete, a message displays indicating that the internal storage drive has been recovered.

Press any key on the keyboard to restart the computer.

I would check the memory/hard disk as well, your problems sounds like more than faulty drivers, particularly if you are using the computer and it suddenly blue screens. I know someone who has had a problem while syncing his ipod with itunes on a computer I built recently caused it to blue screen, and I narrowed the problem down to be itunes, so if the blue screens are happening doing something in particular such as syncing an iphone etc it could be that that is the issue.

Download the Ultimate Boot CD (UBCD). Your netbook doesn't have an optical drive but UBCD comes with a script to prepare a bootable USB stick.

Boot from USB and use Memtest86+ to test the memory and ViVARD to test the hard disk.
