refilling a sealed heating system

    im gonna be filling my sealed heating system later,,,il turn on da mains at the check hose valve and go around and bleed each radiatorsn which is normal

    what i am not sure of is,,,,,,,,the expansion vessel is in the attic(no airvent beside it),,,do i have to pull any air out of the vessel itself by the top vave etc

    Hi, no the valve at the top of the expansion vessel is for filling it with air. it should be checked annually with a tyre pressure gauge. The system should have an automatic air vent generally at a high point in the system.
