I've currently been suffering a health problem which means im home-bound. I have one year of level 7 humanities in college done and was wondering if any one knew if its possible to do a college course from home, or what other courses would be suitable..??

Have a look at the Oscail BA in Humanities : www.oscail.ie

The degree is awarded by DCU, so it is fully accredited. I did my BSc in IT with them many moons ago. You may be able to get some exemptions, too.

    Open University is another option.

Do you know if Oscail-DCU accept grants or is it payable fees only.

Grants are only payable for full-time courses, so unfortunately the Oscail courses aren't eligible.
