Towns cup finals this weekend!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Folks, the towns cup finals is down to the last four and being played off this weekend in lismore golf club. Im participating myself and played a trial there today, very friendly people and challenging 9 hole course. Anybody else going along ...........:cool::cool:

    well here goes so..... its specifically for 9hole courses in munster region. Similar to interclub competitions...........Its ran by munster branch after that. Also known as Country Clubs cup. Seven players to a team straight matchplay format Handicap limit is no lower than 10 previous year and games are off scratch... must win 4 matches to progress. Pennant and medals are awarded to successful team this sun in lismore gc waterford. Templemore have owned competition for a while. were going for 3 in a row. but out now. Two cork teams one kerry and 1 clare left in. frankfield (cork) Vs Glengarrif (cork) and Castlegregory (kerry) Vs SpanishPoint (Clare). Hope this helps.. good luck to all.:):)

    hi again folks..towns cup won by spanish point runners up frankfield. Special mention to lismore golf club who could not have been more helpful. very nice people and course in great condition. Also to munster branch for running comp to perfection. (C MON THE BANNER):):):):)
