Etihad returning to Dublin for Medical emergency

    Saw this A330 fly over the house but couldn't make out the airline so went on Flight Radar 24 to check it out. Then I noticed it turned back to Dublin on the radar. It's coming back to RWY 10 at Dublin with emergency services standing by.

    Yeah just listening and watching now, seems like a medical, just heard a request if the passenger was responsive to which they replied they were!

    Yeah. I was tracking it out of interest and I noticed her turn around at the Welsh coast. Then I hopped on Live ATC and hear there was a medical emergency on board.

    Its landed now anyway, hopefully the person will be ok in the end.

    The pilot reported the passenger was concious when ATC asked as they turned back so hopefully everything will be alright.

    This is kind of a Catch 22 situation, if something happens to the passenger and they then recover, even if they give you permission to continue to the destination, there is a good chance that their first stop after the airport is a lawyers office to sue the airline!
