So i've been in a band the last few years but my drummer decided to move halfway around the world on us, I was planning on moving into doing some electronic stuff, while recording my guitar and vocals into the tracks. Anyone know any decent cheap/free software that would be good to start on?

Reaper is good and it's pretty cheap.
