Attracted to Drag Queens

    Hi all

    I am 30-something guy.

I have had experiences with men and transvestite men.
I know that I am not attracted to men but I am attracted
to men who like to pose as women.

I know that there is a section of "straight" men probably including
myself that are attracted to trannys because they see them as
    "easier" to approach than women.

When they are in drag, I find myself attracted to them, including
    including their manhoods.

But if they take off their makeup and outfits, and appeared as "normal" men
I am not attracted to them.

I do love women, but lately I find myself wanting to be with
trannys more than women. I don't want anything to do with
prostitutes or sex-workers. I'd like to know if there is anywhere
in Ireland where I could meet and chat with trannys without any pressure?

I've been to the gay pubs and clubs in Dublin but there are not really any trannys
there, and if they are there they are ususally being hosts or performing on stage
as part of the night's entertainment.

I believe there used to be a club off Parnell Square in Dublin
called "Trannie Haven" but apparently that is closed now.

Am I getting this whole thing wrong - that trannys are usually gay men
who dress up for fun, but in their day to day life as "un-made up" men they
    like men?

Firstly, please cut out the liberal use of the word 'tranny'. It's offensive and derogatory. On the subject of attraction, it's fluid and sexuality can't necessarily be boxed.

Apologies for the incorrect term. What terms should I use?
I want to meet and hopefully date transgendered people, so please
educate me as to the correct terms.

Anyway, I'd really appreciate any information on where I could meet
    transsgendered people.

The best term to use is transgendered person. I'm unaware of anywhere IRL that would suit what you're looking for, as your interest seems to be purely sexual, and I'm not sure how many trans women would appreciate that- I am happy to be corrected on this. Also just fyi this is not a forum to help you hook up- but information requests are grand.

What I'd really like to is to know if there is anywhere - clubs, pubs party nights etc
where I could meet, chat (and hopefully flirt) with transgendered people.

I don't want a sexual "pick-up", maybe some slow dancing or maybe a kiss and cuddle :)

I just find myself attracted to these people and want to explore this more. I know
there are places you can go for sexual encounters but I don't want that.
