You need to give us the model (going to guess its probably a 2247 :pac: ).

A DDNS service could help you set custom rules as to what to allow and what to block.

Sign up for a free OpenDNS account and add your network. You can block individual websites, entire domains or categories of sites, i.e. social networking, web proxies, anonymizer, etc.

Then configure the Netopia router to use OpenDNS' DNS server addresses instead of your ISP.

Thanks I have set up an OpenDns account but cannot find where on the Netopia Control Panel I change the DNS server addresses.

I'm fairly certain you can easily change DNS Settings on the netopias, look under network settings, you may need to go into "Expert Mode"

It could be the older Netopia with the purple and yellow interface, fairly certain the changes are similar on that though

How tech headed are the people you're blocking the sites from? You can get around this by simply adding static DNS to the devices in question
