Claiming tax relief for some health expenses in 2011, 3 doctors visits that my wife had. I directly paid for 2 of the visits from my bank account, so no issue there.

The 3rd visit though, my wife paid from her account (for 92 quid).
She wasn't working at the time, so I had transferred money to her account on the day, in 2 lots of €20 & €75.
I have my (and my wifes) bank statements pertaining to all these payments.

Am I still okay to claim for that 3rd visit, even though my wife physically made the payment using her card/account?

I assume yes, especially as i have all reciepts and the relevant bank statements, but just thought I would check first. Maybe my wife should claim back that particular visit herself?

If you are joint assessed for tax purposes, then you can claim them all. If separately assessed or under separate treatment then whoever paid for them claims it.

Sound, we're jointly assessed so will put through for all 3 visits, cheers :D
