Back pain advise required

Hi all, My OH is in a bad way with her back. She has had two discs removed (L3 / L4). She has had MRI scans, steroid injections and had some bone fused??. Any ways she is constantly in pain with it. She is very reluctant to seek help for it as she is worried any treatments would make it worse. Can anyone recommend possible…
