    Hiya Folks,

If i get a grade 2 on my assessment would i get a refund from the insurance company? Its just that i got a bike so need to insure it obviously, but i dont know whether to insure it before or after i do my assessment.

There are four companies that insure bikes in Ireland.
Give them a call and ask them.

Grade 2 possibly, but IIRC only at the start of the policy not nearing the end (thats what I was told with AON). When I got mine I was due for renewal in a week or two so it made no difference. But it did to the price of the policy I tell you that, its well worth getting it if you are young and starting out to lower the price you will have to pay.

But deffo insure it after the assessment....but all insurance companies have different terms and conditions.

Thats gas when I passed my test I was told that the IBT full course was more or less the same grade as a full license so no refund was due!

    But I got a nice discount for a G2.
