I watched the film Pi last night and they were playing this game. It looks quite interesting and I might want to take it up. Is there anywhere in Dublin I can buy a Go set and what price are they? Also is there any clubs in Dublin? I found this website, but it looks about 2 years out of date http://www.irish-go.org/clubs-tournaments/

    Cheers.

Hi! The website doesn't look great, granted, but the Collegian's Go Club (where I used to play before finals got in the way) still meets every Wednesday at 8:30 in Larry Murphy's. Arthur'll be there even if no-one else is :P

There was an erstwhile branch that met in the Tea Gardens on (I think) Mondays, and there's definitely a set still there, but I don't know if it's still active. There's a UCD club too AFAIK but sadly, I couldn't tell you more.

http://www.gokgs.com/ is a great place to play online too btw, most of Ireland's GO players play there regularly and have an active forum.

Do learn, it's a great game that could do with more exposure!
