Hey guys, My daughter has submitted her DCU Access form and has been deemed eligible. If she gets an offer of a place in DCU, what happens? When will she find out whether she has subsidised accommodation? Any help appreciated. Thanks

    HI

I understand that in order to be eligible your daughter must achieve her own place in DCU ie gain enough points. Students who are being offered subsidised accommodation are normally contacted by someone from the Access office within 2-3 days of CAO offers.

    Best of luck to her

Great thanks. She's hoping to get enough points for her course, but if she gets an offer of accommodation, we won't be able to cover costs if we've to pay the full amount, but if it's subsidized that would make a huge difference.

has anyone been offered a subsidized place ? Does that offer come out the same time as the normal accommodation offer?
